Kasia and Rick

Chayse on our territory

Suka and Kasia went out looking for the same moose herd we ate from yesterday. Instead, they found the tracker/hunter and the rookie spy from the Wolfric pack -- in the Snowstorm Mountain Pack's territory! Luckily, Suka and Kasia spotted the enemy before the enemy spotted them.

They hid behind a boulder, and waited for the two wolves crossed in front. As soon as they did Suka attacked Chayse (the tracker/hunter) while Kasia got the smaller, younger, and less experienced Rick.

As you see in the first picture, Kasia easily got Rick running, tail between legs and yelping all the way back to the Wolfric territory. As soon as he left, Kasia ran behind Chayse, and bit the back of his leg, and Suka was trying to bite his muzzle, while Chayse was trying to bite hers.

Kasia bit his leg harder and started to shake her head to tear his leg. Chayse yelped, and jumped his head around to get her to stop. Suka took advantage of that, and bit his neck. Chayse turned back, and was trying to bite Suka and shake Kasia of his leg. He then gave in, by lieing on the ground on his back. Suka let go of his neck, and Kasia gave him is leg back.

Chayse jumped up the best he could and ran off limping, and bleeding in the direction that Rick had yelped off to.

Suka and Kaisa caught a rabbit, a marmot, and a few voles for themselves, then they returned to the whelping den (where we live in the Summer) for the rest of the pack to eat.
